YEARS
At the tender age of 9, she took a steering wheel by the hand and never left it since.
At 18, she started working in the family's small business, driving a van along the Ligurian
Riviera to transport meat.

After this first major race, she took part in many minor competitions, distinguishing herself by
her grit and talent.

DEBUT
330 Chevrolet, she finished fifth in the final classification in the Rothmans F5000
Championship, thanks to a great regularity of results in the 18 races on the calendar.
AFFIRMATIONS
At the time she was driving a Brabham BT42 powered by Ford Cosworth DFV with which
she achieved the 29th fastest time in practice, unfortunately not enough to qualify for the
race. The following year she took part in twelve of the fourteen world championship races,
driving a March 741 for March Engineering at the start of the year and continuing with a
March 751 for the Lavazza March team.
DEBUT
Sportscar Championship category, achieving good results. She made her debut at the wheel
of a Lola T 284 Ford Gr. S.3, and the following year she took part in five of the nine races on
the calendar, as well as in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, always racing with French driver Marie-
Claude Beaumont at the wheel of an Alpine-Renault A441 in Group S.2
classification of the race.
